The Headmaster's Advisory Council
The Headmaster's Advisory Council is comprised of a flexible group of students who meet weekly with the Headmaster to discuss areas of interest. The entire student body is invited to attend these meetings to discuss aspects of School life that are important to students. This group frequently is responsible for beginning new programs, updating procedures and planning recreational activities. Their input is taken seriously, and they are encouraged to participate fully in the Council's work.
Big Brother Program
Each underclassman is assigned a Big Brother when they start at CFS. The upperclassmen take this role very seriously. They "look out for" their little brother both in terms of academic performance, as well as social interactions. The Big/Little Brother program allows time for tutoring, social activities and general assistance as the two boys determine appropriate. This program is overseen by the Guidance Department to ensure its success.
Conduct Review Board
Our students play a very important role with their participation on our Conduct Review Board (CRB). As members of a team composed of students, staff and faculty, these students listen to and assist in the evaluation of disciplinary issues involving their peers. Their input and consideration is key to this process, and their participation is valued by all members of the community.
Student Guide Programs
The students at CFS have an opportunity to participate in a number of programs in which they can show leadership. Among them are two programs where students interact directly with the local community and public.
Orientation Guides are students who assist new community members with becoming acclimated to the CFS campus and acquaint them with our policies and procedures. This group also provides support for the public, acting as parking guides and providing directions to visitors when they visit our campus for a variety of events.
Admission Guides work with prospective clients and their families. Their role is to provide a tour of the campus, while providing orientation information as it relates to each physical area. They act as our ambassadors and do an exceptionally fine job of representing our school.
